Thor
"Cat has been phenomenal and such an important part of bringing our Thor back to health. Prior to reaching out to Cat, Thor had never had consistent stools, was vomiting, regurgitating and refusing food - this cycle continued for approximately 14 months. We tried virtually every kibble, cold pressed, freeze dried on the market. Vets just wanted him on prescription kibble, and shunned us away from Raw.
We have been working with Cat for a little over two months now and the difference in Thor was almost immediate after his first lot of tailored recipes that Cat had made for him. He's now fully settled into Raw food, along with several other herbal and natural ingredients that are healing his gut. We would not be here without Cat. She's supportive, unbelievably educational, understanding and genuinely cares for your dog's health. She's a credit to the dog nutrition industry." - Thor's mum Lisa

Luna
"I’m not sure where we would be without Cats help. Despite working within the canine nutrition field and having had consults, advice and plans written by some of the very best in the industry, nothing was working for my poor pup Luna. I had heard of Cat through a friend and then again from another so I bit the bullet and booked a consult. Her in-depth consultation and amazing aftercare lead us down a path of recovery. Her care, knowledge and passion is second to none and I would recommend her within a heartbeat as I now have a healthy pup. The canine industry really needs more like Cat! Forever grateful!" - Luna's mum Anna

Toby
"We first contacted Cat after a recommendation from Helena at Poochie Pantry as Toby aged 12 had been diagnosed with stage 2 kidney failure and osteo arthritis, as we wanted to do everything possible to reduce the risk of him entering stage 3 kidney failure. When the vets initially diagnosed him, they gave no advise on what we could do, basically just kept saying it was quality of life that mattered, and made us feel like we didn't have long left with our boy. Cat assured us that we could reduce his risk of entering stage 3 by feeding him the correct diet. She sent us a very detailed questionnaire, asking about Toby, his diet and what the vets had diagnosed and recommended.
We then had a zoom consultation and she asked loads of questions in relation to the questionnaire we had completed. She provided us with a list of tests and questions to take back to the vets, which were what they should have done after diagnosing him, which we did and got his arthritis medication changed as the ones initially given, had an impact on his kidneys :-( and got him on high blood pressure medication (a symptom of kidney failure), which the vets hadn't even talked about in our initial consultation.
Cat provided us with a home recipe for food, which we cooked at home. He initially loved it and wolfed it down, but Toby being Toby he went off it, but he is on a low purine raw diet now and seems to be doing really well. She also advised on what supplement's to give him, to help with the kidney issues and arthritis. He is now doing great and we are really, really happy with his progress and cannot thank Cat enough, for all she has done and continues to do. She regularly checks in, on how he's doing." - Toby's mum Nicki

Bo
"I first made contact with Cat in June 2024. My dog had been diagnosed with pancreatitis & was not doing well on her prescription food. I had found Cat on social media via a friend's recommendation. After messaging Cat she set up an initial video consultation where we discussed my dog's overall health, medical conditions & dietary requirements. I didn't want to give my dog a raw food diet so we discussed the benefits of a fresh food diet tailored to my dog's specific needs. Cat was very reassuring & confident that with a fresh food diet we could get my dog's pancreatitis flare-ups under control. I would be responsible for home cooking my dog's food along with purchasing/adding in daily supplements to ensure my dog's daily nutritional needs were being met. I was nervous at the thought but knew it was the right thing to do for my dog & her needs.
Throughout my fresh food journey Cat has been an amazing support. From her holistic approach & nutritional knowledge to her virtual hand holding she has helped give me the confidence to cook for my dog. My dog has adjusted well to a fresh food diet (in fact she goes barking mad when her food comes out) & whilst she still has the odd flare up she is so much happier & brighter in herself since her pancreatitis is under control.
I'm so glad we found Cat when we did & can't recommend her highly enough 🥰🐾" - Bo's mum Sally

Barney
"Barney had been diagnosed with allergies and we were offered Immune suppressing drugs which were the last thing we wanted but we couldn’t bare to see him sad anymore. We took the leap and decided to work with Cat and we are so glad we went down the nutrition route rather than drugs. It has taken a few months and at the beginning it was trial and error however Barney has gone from his fur falling out, red sore paws and sleeping all the time back to being the best happiest, energetic, shiny furred beautiful boy in the world.
We genuinely can’t thank Cat enough for giving us not only our happiness back but Barneys too. Cat has been so responsive, compassionate and helpful with any questions we have had. If you’re considering working with Cat please don’t hesitate. Thank you so much! We will be forever grateful." - Emma, Barneys Big Sister

Chief
"Cat came into me and my dog's life at a time where we were really struggling to control his skin issues and find a way forward. After losing confidence in the vets and specialists who simply wanted to put him onto a very over processed poor diet, Cat helped get my dog back into good health. He has never looked better, been more consistent with his stools and she really understood all my concerns. She was always contactable and supportive and was always willing to make accommodations and recommendations for Chief - it was never a one size fits all. I have recommended her to many people and I trust in the advice she has given us to get my dog's gut and skin issues back to a manageable baseline." - Chief's mum Charlotte

Bella
"Cat was super helpful in explaining canine energetics and the role it could play in Bella's eye flare ups. The flares began last year from August to October, and this year occurred briefly in June/July, and again for a slightly longer period in August. Cat assessed Bella through a series of questions to determine her energetics, and provided advice and guidance on which foods to try Bella on in order to balance out her energetics and try and reduce her susceptibility to environmental factors which are likely causing her reactions. Bella had a significantly less serious set of reactions this year following her energetically suited diet, which we have continued for now. Cat advised the seasons where Bella may need support via the energetically suited diet, and has been available for support throughout our journey. Cat's help has been invaluable and we will continue to follow her advice. As the seasons change we will be reintroducing other foods so she has more nutritional variation, but will be utilising Cat's amazing guidance going forward to support Bella!" - Bella's mum Sophie

Koda
"I'd tried everything over the years to get Koda to eat and she'd constantly refuse, it made it much more difficult that she had many allergies, but then I was introduced to Cat! She's been so thorough and was always there for support for all the queries I had. Koda's habits and relationship with food now is so much better and we have Cat to thank for that. Her knowledge and patience is invaluable!!" - Koda's mum Tesni

Ted
"Ted has been suffering with a gut issue and yeast outbreak for months. Nothing the vets prescribed helped with his condition and they wanted to supply drugs that would only mask the issue and not fix it so I looked to go down the natural route. I was put in touch with Cat who has been unbeliavble and helped us out so much. She created a meal plan to follow that consisted of specific food and supplements to help with his condition. Any questions I had a long the way she answered in great detail." - Ted's dad Rob

Tails on the Trails
"DIY is something I've always wanted to explore but never had the confidence to, even with my own research. After completing the "No fuss fresh" programme it felt so easy to get started! I learnt so much about canine energetics and how it can affect each of my dogs differently and from that I could tailor their diets accordingly using the recipe builder & meal planning resources provided within the course package. I've had so much fun putting their meals together and trying out new proteins to suit my dog's individual needs. It was so easy just having all the information I needed in one place to get started, I feel so much more confident feeding DIY now, all thanks to Cat and her amazing support. 🫶🏻" - Tails on the Trails
Aurora
Aurora came to me in August 2023 at 8 weeks weaned onto eukanuba which she promptly refused to eat. The breeder advice was to starve her and then she would eat, she ate minimal food despite being offered a wide variety of fresh, raw, kibble and cooked and grew very slowly. She was also quiet. She suffered from vomiting bile, play bowing as though she had stomach pain and poor appetite almost from day one, nothing made her eat, my vets didn’t have an endoscope available at the time so couldn’t do any investigation but told me ‘a lean dog is better’, at this point you could see her spinal processes and ribs but as her coat was glossy they said she was fine. We got her to 17kg by the end of 2024 then she started to lose weight again. Her weight was dropping weekly and at one point she was down to 13.9 kg, literal skin and bones, she was referred to a specialist who did the endoscopy and diagnosed chronic lymphoplasmacytic gastritis and enteritis with inflammation throughout her digestive system. He told me to get food in her no matter what it was, she was put on steroids and a number of other meds and that is when Cat became involved on the 27th Feb. Within 2 days of contacting her we had a diet formulated for ease of digestion and to boost vitamins that were being mal-absorbed. I have used veterinary dieticians in the past and was charged an exorbitant fee for a diet consisting of an American supplement and a bit of turkey and greens. Cats diet was full of whole foods, easy to batch cook and prepare and for the first time ever Aurora cried while her dinner was being dished up, she couldn’t wait to get to it. We have had a few blips, one when I was struggling to find turkey and another relapse that Cat suspects was due to too much fat but both times Cat has been on hand with advice and out of the box thinking to come up with a solution. My vet is very happy with Auroras physical condition, she's not a dog that’s going to have a long life as her gut is most likely being damaged daily by an autoimmune issue but she is a healthy weight, has a good appetite and is more active and engaged. Cat is now preparing another diet to help gain muscle for when she sees the rehab team as unfortunately the long term steroids have caused considerable muscle loss but I have no doubts that she will be on hand to help Aurora through this next part of her journey. I chatted to my vet last week when she went for bloods and he said he thought she was going to starve to death when she dropped to 13.9kg, she was so emaciated and there was only so much he could do medication wise. He is hopeful that we can give her a happy if short life due in part to the nutrition she is getting. I do believe that without Cat helping get her not only eating but eating well that she would not be here today. I know we are only just keeping our heads above the water, the couple of small relapses we have had she lost a kilo of weight in 5 days as there is nothing spare but I am hoping that as she settles on her diet long term that her body condition with continue to improve and she will be able to cope with these small blips without such drastic weight loss. I will forever be grateful for Cats advice, help and support." - Jo
Chip & Kayla
"We have known Cat since her days as pawfect nature when we were just starting to explore natural treats and raw feeding. Cat has always helped me whenever I’ve needed advice on supplements for my dogs and how to feed said supplements. Through Cats online pet shops I’ve also learned about good natural brands as Cat wouldn’t stock products that weren’t in the dogs best interests! Now that Cat has branched into Be More Dog I’m learning loads via the videos posted to Instagram with little hints and tips and I love sharing them so that more and more people can learn too. Highly recommend following Cat and if you’re after any dietary advice for your dog, let Cat be your first one to call!" - Danielle
Meiko
"We found Cat through the wonderful world of Small Businesses on Social Media in 2020. At the time, we had our Chihuahua, a senior Leonberger and a Leonberger puppy. Sadly we lost our puppy to a congenital disease just shy of him turning 14 weeks old. We stepped away from socials for some time but still would support Cats former online business. Fast forward 1 year exactly to 2021 when we bought home a puppy. Being raw fed, I also knew I wanted to return to Cats, then small business of natural treats and supplements on a regular basis. We could get so much more variety than what was available locally to us. We lived each day watching our new pup like a hawk, as naturally we had dealt with a very traumatic loss, but we were filled with confidence both in what natural products we purchased and also the support we were given. Over time as our puppy grew Cat was there with answers to any questions, as we rode the rollercoaster of environmental allergies, and then the devastating loss of our elderly Leonberger. He was nearly 16. An incredible and practically unheard of age for the breed. But, our young boy grieved. He grieved so hard that he stopped eating. Completely. He lost 10kg in total. This caused me, as a pet parent the most horrendous anxiety, and he too was suffering. Alongside addressing the issue with our very good Veterinarian, Cat supported us the whole time. Lots of things changed. Routine had to change. But through the support network, knowledge and care - I can confirm that we have one very happy and healthy 74kg loveable bear. I mean, dog haha! As always, we would like to thank you, Cat, for everything." - Hannah
Betsy
"Can’t thank Cat enough, over the years she has been that source of knowledge I’ve needed to provide my dog with the best possible life really when it comes to diet and nutrition! Foundation of knowledge." - Louise

Steel
"We have followed Cat since the days of Pawfect Nature and the Mindful Mutts Club, throughout Puppychops Petshop and onto Be More Dog Nutrition. Cats passion for natural, fresh feeding, understanding our canine companions and learning to give them the best we can is intoxicating and we learn every single day from her. Her non-judgmental approach and in-depth understanding of nutrition and psyche mean that her advice is accessible for all pet parents no matter their place in the journey to fresh feeding and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Thanks Cat for everything so far and we can’t wait to continue our journey to caninise ourselves with you ☺️" - Becca, Steel's Mum

Thor & Hera
"The advice and assistance Cat has provided for helping make sure Thor & Hera’s diets are meeting their needs and dealing with their respective preferences has been brilliant. With Cat’s help we have managed to improve the skin issues that Thor was having and generally improve both their health’s" - Michelle

Milo
"Cat’s been working with Milo and I for a couple of months now. I went to Cat because Milo had some gut issues I’d been unable resolve, and these were giving him itchy, yeasty ears and runny poo. He’s always been raw fed, with a great variety of brands and proteins, but under Cat’s guidance I’ve totally stripped back his diet and starting feeding DIY. I now know exactly what goes into Milo’s bowl and we’ve been able to identify what suits him and what doesn’t. Cat has also identified that Milo’s energetics suggest a need for cooling proteins and herbs. The improvements we’ve seen have been incredible. He’s enjoying his food more than ever, his ears and tummy have settled down and he looks amazing. His temperament is a lot calmer too. I’ve also made a lifelong friend in Cat. She’s honest, super knowledgeable, inspiring, great fun and a truly amazing lady." - Phillipa

Logan
"Cat has been amazing for my Logan she is so knowledgeable about food of all varieties raw cooked diy. Her knowledge on supplements is like nothing I have ever experienced combined with her use of Chinese medicine makes for an ace plan forward. She’s always on hand to help and nothing is to much trouble I can’t recommend cat enough she’s a gem of the industry." - Rowena

Happy Pup
"We wanted to try a homemade raw diet as pre-made raw food didn’t quite work. Our dogs poops were really hard and chalky! Cat was really helpful and responsive and the lessons were really informative. Since being on homemade it’s been so much better and our dogs anal gland issues have improved! It’s been really easy and it feels so much better giving my dog fresh food."

Blue & Cesca
"Cat, you are the most special human being. From welcoming us to the team as brand reps in the Pawfect nature days to now, you’re always there when we need you. Almost a year ago we lost Cesca, who we kept mainly on a kibble diet, but with your support and non judgemental attitude, she enjoyed additional fresh goodness in her final years, I’ve no doubt that helped in us having her around for a little longer than we thought was possible. You reached out to us, comforted us and made sure that Blue was ok, even sending a little something to try and ease her grief. You’re more than just a canine nutritionist, you’re a dear friend and we wouldn’t be where we are on our fresh feeding journey without you, your enormous brain and even bigger heart! Lots of hugs, Simmone & Blue (& special heavenly hugs from Cesca)" - Simmone

Wilfred
"Cat is absolutely amazing and the most understanding, helpful and non judgemental person. The support she has given us during the course is incredible and she explains everything so clearly.
We've learnt so much about feeding fresh foods and the benefit it has for our best friends and we simply couldn't have done it without Cat!" - Hannah
Luna
"It's fair to say that we loved Cat from the start. Her experience and depth of knowledge with dog nutrition shone through from our very first session and gave us the much needed confidence to transition our dog onto a DIY raw diet using carefully sourced proteins. What we weren't expecting was the level of enthusiasm, passion and dedication she had for supporting us throughout the whole process. Knowing that Cat was always available to answer questions and provide guidance was a much needed safety net that gave us the courage to take full responsibility for our dog's nutrition.
It was clear that Cat genuinely cared about our dog's health and, rather than just providing the information and leaving us to it, always made it clear that she was along for the journey with us.
Cat is one of those people you feel lucky to have on your team and we really hope that Be More Dog Nutrition will continue to play a part in our dog's evolving diet in the future." - Simon & Vanessa

Ronnie
"Starting the DIY Raw Food journey was one of the best decisions I have ever made for me and Ronnie. Before then although I wanted to do it the thought of making homemade recipes for Ronnie was overwhelming.
Doing the course made me realise it’s nowhere near as complicated as you think. It has enabled me to take back control of Ronnies diet. He absolutely loves his fresh meals and is a happy and healthy boy because of them!" - Trish

Heston
"Anyone's whose dog can’t have raw and looked at home cooking, knows the internet is a minefield of conflicting and often inaccurate info. This course gave me the knowledge and confidence to know I’m giving my dog what he needs.
Cats support has been amazing, she does an amazing job of making the process as simple as slow cooking a meal for yourself." - Justine

Echo & Storm
"The DIY Raw Food Program was exactly what we needed on our food journey.
We’re feeling confident and proud of what we’ve accomplished in such a short time.
Thank You! Warning: May cause you to fall down many many rabbit holes, come join us 😄" - Steph

Maya
"I don't even know where to begin. Cat was an answer to a prayer when the veterinary world seemed to leave me with nothing but guess work. She supported me through so many highs and lows with our poorly boy and has continued to support us with our girlies too!
I am so clueless and scared in case I do something wrong to my fur babies detriment but now I feel empowered, supported and most importantly like I've got a real friend in Cat! My girls have never been more excited for their food!
Frankie the Frenchie had every issue you can imagine and then change in her is phenomenal! My oldie Maya is loving life and fitter than ever.
I cannot recommend Cat enough for what she does to help us pup parents do the very best by our pets!!" - Rhanny

Whiskey & Bella
"We’ve found the course so helpful, and it was really eye opening. Aside from DIY, it also touched on other topics like gut reset, vaccinations, balanced over time/everyday etc, the course has so much useful and interesting topics it was so worth going (even for someone who has been raw feeding completes for years) to really have a much better understanding. Cat’s workshops been really helpful but all the information has been clear and she’s always been there if we had more questions! I’d strongly recommend doing the course for both those who are new to raw/fresh/homecooked or those who want to learn more about it. The course also covers homecooked which gives us alternative options for ie, travelling or when the dogs are staying with friends while we’re away/vets etc." - GiGi

Kanji
"I had approached Cat to help me get on top of my senior dog's Leaky Gut symptoms but he threw in a severe GI episode to get through first! Cat has been an incredible help and support in getting my dog, Kanji, back to health through nutritious whole foods. She has regularly made sure we're on the right track and made amendments to the FEDIAF recipes she has created to meet his changing needs. We're not finished yet as Kanji's guts were in a terrible state but his progress means I have a happy and healthy dog again" - Paula
